“My name’s Gerald” he shouts down at me, “but you can call my Gerry. Its Gerry for short, even though I’m tall”. He laughs for us all.
Gerry is sipping a small sherry, as he searches for another berry.
“I knew you’d find me” he says “I saw you get off the ferry, with my cousin Terry”
That would explain the delay at disembarkation as we waited for a giraffe to negotiate the doorways and the ramp. I’m struggling to hear him as he’s so far up and clearly not coming down to my level, so I take the elevator to the 2nd floor and as I emerge onto the terrace I understand why; Its happy hour at the Tower, Gerry is joined by cousin Terry and his best mate Perry, and they seem to be getting very merry on Sherry.
It’s not often I bring part of an animal’s anatomy into a description, but I can honestly say these framed canvases are the dog’s b@//*#ks! - they are absolutely stunning; the nearest thing I can offer to an original painting. The top-quality canvas nestles perfectly within this contemporary black frame, with a small 5mm gap to create a floating border. I honestly couldn’t be happier with them! There are 2 extra supersize tall canvases available for those of you who want a statement giraffe! wooop woop!
