Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

RETURNS

All items are made to order so ideally you can decide what’s right for you before they are made up and sent. I’m not a massive company with tons of stock stored, waiting to ship so it really helps me out.

If something arrived and you decided you didn’t want to keep it, you can send it to me for exchange or refund. Just reply to your order confirmation and state which items you wish to send back.

Please note, there is a small restocking fee to help cover the outward postage.
The return shipping would be at your own expense, and must be covered for loss or damage.

The returns policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

If cancelling your order which is not damaged, defective or ordered in error, you must inform us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the order within 28 days of receipt to qualify for a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

As all items are made to order the cost of shipping the order to you will be deducted from the refund.

Non-returnable items:

  • Free gifts or promotional items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalised Products (Items that have been modified with a name or message)
  • Commissioned Artwork (Artwork created specifically for you by the artist)

To complete your return, please reply to your order confirmation.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Products with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery has taken place

REFUNDS (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

Please get in touch or arrange. they will provide you with all the details needed to return your item.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. Please email us at hello@sarahtaylorart.co.uk if you wish to return a gift you have received.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

SHIPPING

 You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary, but in most cases your replacement will arrive within 7-10 days.

If you are shipping an item with a high monetary value, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and a refund/exchange can only be authorised on our receipt of the original item.
