Your Painting Application Form
Thank you for your interest in commissioning a painting.
The next step is a short application form. This helps me learn more about your dog (or meaningful animal) and ensures we’re a great fit for a commission. Taking the time to fill it in helps me create something truly special.
I’m best known for my bold, expressive dog portraits – paintings that are truly recognisable as your dog, while also capturing their character, personality, and energy. My aim is to create a piece that feels full of love, connection, and presence – the way your dog looks at you, which is something completely unique.
These questions help me understand your dog, your story, and what makes this painting meaningful to you. There’s no right or wrong way to answer, and there’s no need to rush. Most people find it helpful to respond from the heart rather than overthinking it.
Submitting this form doesn’t commit you to a commission. It simply allows me to review your request personally and decide whether it’s the right fit for my style and upcoming availability. If it is, I’ll be in touch by email to talk through next steps.
Thank you for taking the time to share a little about your dog – it really does make all the difference to the final painting.
A Reminder Of How It Works
The process is intentionally calm, considered, and designed to make
the experience as personal and enjoyable as possible.
I have limited spaces available each year, which are offered on a first come first served basis.
The Investment
This reflects the time, care, and creative focus involved in producing a one-of-a-kind artwork.
To make the process comfortable and unrushed, the investment is spread across stages - beginning with a booking deposit to secure your place, followed by two further payments: one before your painting begins, and the final balance once it’s complete.
Please note shipping is not included.

The most popular option is the 60 cm painting. It is the optimum size for my signature portraits full of splashes and pattern, designed to hold visual weight and presence within a space.
Painted on a specially prepared wooden board and framed in a real wood contemporary floating frame.

These paintings are a lot more labour-intensive and require additional studio time, so availability is extremely limited. If you want to really make a statement, it'll blow your socks off!
This beauty is painted on a chunky board with gorgeous wooden sides, without a frame.
"A magical experience"
The whole process from start to finish has been wonderful!

Other Animals!
Although there are a lot of dogs featured here, I do take commissions for lots of other animals too!
This colourful Sulphur-crested cockatoo was painted specially for a lovely Australian couple living in London who wanted something to remind them of home. They picked out colours they wanted to include , and I brought him to life with my unique painting technique.
Sarah was a real pleasure to work with. She was very professional and made sure that the style and colours were what we wanted, without overwhelming us with choices. She has made a painting for us that is now the best piece of art in the house. It makes me happy every time I look at it.
Each animal deserves
their own space
I only paint one subject per painting as each animal deserves their own space.
Although I realise some of you would prefer 2 doggies on one painting it just doesn't work with my technique and style. It is much better to give each one my full attention and capture their unique character without them fighting for attention. If you want 2 or more, please add more paintings at time of booking.
