If I had to sum it up quickly? Bold, joyful, and full of personality. The kind of wall art that refuses to blend into the background and absolutely won’t apologise for loving and showing off vibrant colours.
Real Animals, Real Presence
My animal paintings sit between realism and expression. Every animal that I depict is carefully built with proper structure and anatomy - I want them to feel like real and living beings, not vague impressions. Whether it’s a leopard, a dog painting, or highland cow art, the end goal is ultimately always the same: presence. You should feel like the animals that I have painted are properly there in the room with you.
Colour With Purpose
Yes, in my wall art, there’s a lot of colour. Bright, vibrant and sometimes almost neon. But it’s never random. Colour is how I create emotion, movement and energy in my wall art. It’s what makes a painting jump off the wall and grab your attention as soon as you see it, but of course, it still needs balance. Too safe is boring, too wild is messy - the absolute sweet spot is where the magic happens.
Splash, Blow, React
Some of the most exciting moments happen when I let go of control. I splash, drip and blow vibrant paint colours all across the surface, then respond to whatever happens next. These disruptors change the direction of a painting that I am creating in seconds and give it that sense of freedom and adventure. It keeps the wall art feeling alive rather than overworked.
It’s All in the Eyes
The eyes are everything. They’re my favourite part of the process and where the real connection happens. I spend hours perfecting the eyes of the animals that I am painting because that’s where the soul lives. That’s the moment you lock eyes with the painting and feel something - curiosity, calm, confidence, warmth. It’s usually where people fall in love.
Energy You Can Feel
I don’t believe in copying another artist’s style or chasing art trends. The energy in my wall art comes from being fully present while I paint and trusting my instincts. The result is wall art that feels expressive, joyful and full of character - pieces of animal art that you’ll notice every day and keep discovering something new in.
